Boston (dbTechno) - Sony has come out and killed all rumors that PlayStation Home will be included in the upcoming PS3 firmware 2.30 update.

Many have been speculating that PlayStation Home would release day and date with the new PS3 firmware update 2.30.

The new PS3 firmware update will also accompany the launch of the brand new PlayStation Store.

This is apparently not the case though, as a Sony rep has posted on the official U.S. PlayStation blog that Home is not part of the next big PS3 firmware update.

The Sony rep stated “Despite what some rumor mongers would like for you to believe, no, Home is NOT a part of this update.”
